To the many men at the Polunsky Unit of the TDCJ who God brought into my life for fellowship over His Word. I never could have imagined that I would feel such love and respect in a prison, while also witnessing a passion for God’s Word that I had not previously experienced. Thank you for the inspiration to further pursue my discipleship.
A special note of appreciation to Chaplain Martin for his efforts in making me a Certified Volunteer Chaplain Assistant (CVCA) which enabled me to visit men on death row (aka life row).
And to three of those men (Irving, Mark, and Tony) who provided constructive feedback on my earlier draft, even though it caused me to start again from scratch. My tone may still offend many, but thankfully they strongly encouraged me to mitigate my emotion, and instead focus on the logical arguments.
