Acknowledgements

To the many men at the Polunsky Unit of the TDCJ who God brought into my life for fellowship over His Word. Frankly, I had never imagined that I would feel such a high level of love and respect within a prison, while also witnessing a passion for God’s Word that I had not previously experienced.

A special note of appreciation to Chaplain Russell Martin for his effort in me becoming a Certified Volunteer Chaplain Assistant, which enabled me to visit the men on death row (aka life row).

And, to three of those men (Irving, Mark, and Tony) who provided constructive feedback on my very early draft, even though it caused me to basically scrap the entire draft. My tone may still offend many, but thankfully they strongly encouraged me to mitigate my emotion, and instead try to focus on the logical arguments.
